The City Hall of Altea had welcomed the four participants of the Eurodisea programme. The welcome ceremony counted with the presence of Jaume Linares, the mayor of Altea; Antonia Lavios, the councillor of Citizen Participation and responsible of EuroAltea; Xelo González, tourism councillor; Manuel Reig Colomer, the responsible for the technical assistance of the Eurodisea programme; Paloma Verdú, European projects technician and Ana Pérez Alós, tourism technician.
Magda Trindade, graphic designer and Iasmina- Madalina Todinca, European projects assistant are incorporating at the House of Culture of Altea; and Meštrić Andrijana, tourist consultant and Rohani Basgurboga, administrative assistant in tourism are incorporating at the Tourism Info Office of Altea. The four youngsters are coming from Portugal, Romania, Croatia and France.
Eurodyssey is an exchange programme of the Assembly of European Regions (AER) which allows young job seekers aged between 18 and 30 to benefit from a traineeship placement abroad. The objective is to facilitate the incorporation of these youngsters into the labor market and give them the opportunity to learn a foreign language or improve their foreign language skills.
EuroAltea, the European Projects Office, encourages youngsters from Altea that are aged between 18 to 30 years old and are looking for a job to inform themselves about the opportunities that the Eurodisea project has to offer.
Eurodisea promotes the integration into the labor market of youngsters from different settings and with different learning experiences; professional experience acquisition; opportunity to enhance their knowledge of a foreign language; the possibility to test out social and cultural abilities; the enhancement of employability and a better adaptation into the international labour market.
