Ana Vivo, a postgraduated student of the Theacher´s master degree of Primary Education, Pepi Gomis and María Ángeles Jorro, teachers from Altea and also members of the Spanish team that participated from the 9th til 19th of august of 2019 in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv, at the European project NEETs “Not in Education, Employment Training”.
The project was embraced and developed by the “Bulgarian Youth Association” in Bulgaria, specifically in the city of Plovdiv, which is the European Capital of Culture.
This project emerges as a result of a study conducted in 10 different European regions, where it has been exposed the unemployment rate which affects especially the youth sector of the society. In order to help and ameliorate the situation, a non-formal educational program has been created within the ERASMUS+ program, designed for youth workers and teaching staff with the aim of facilitating and multiplying their abilities and capacities, both personal as interpersonal, including self-management abilities, organizational and sense of initiative competencies.
