The four young people come from France and Belgium.
Eurodisea is an exchange programme of the Assembly of European Regions (AER) that offers employment abroad to young people between 18 and 30 years old. The aim is to facilitate the incorporation of young people into the labour market and give them the opportunity to learn a foreign language or improve their knowledge of it.
Manuel Reig Colomer explained that “Eurodisea is a programme with a high degree of success, given that as it is a mobility project, on the one hand we receive people from any region of Europe to work in companies or entities in the Valencian Community, and on the other, we send young people under 30 years of age to work in European companies. We always make sure that they are entities with high quality criteria. And the fact that Altea incorporates four people in different departments of the town hall is very important, because it speaks very well of the municipality and the corresponding areas”.
This is the fourth year that young people from the Eurodisea programme have come to the municipality and they have encouraged the people from Altea to take part in it and enjoy working in another European city. Those interested can go to the European Projects Office in Altea and receive more information about the programme.
