Description

“WiFi4EU” is a project developed by the European Commission within the Connecting Europe Facility programme, aimed at Public Administrations, and designed to reinforce the European single market at a digital level through the implementation of the wifi network in the city.

The European Union promotes this programme from the consideration of connectivity as an essential skill for any citizen in its territory, regardless of where they live and the economic resources available to them.

Objectives

To facilitate a free and a quality access to the Internet for all citizens in the main points of public life in the city, such as parks, squares, libraries and official buildings.
To make this access available to everyone, whether they are residents or visitors in the town.
To promote innovation services in the digital era from the Public Administrations.
