The COGREENEU project is carried out in the framework of the CERV Programme (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values), and seeks to involve both local communities and citizens in debates and actions related to climate change and the environment.
The Project is developed through the creation of transnational meetings in which different activities, workshops and events will be held, where ideas and proposals on sustainability can be put into practice.
The activities carried out and their evaluation will be based on the Sustainable Development Goals included in the 2030 United Nations Agenda. Mention to the promotion of the intergenerational participation, which is considered one of the key factors in the development of COGREENEU, in order to involve as many citizens as possible in the Project. The objective, in this case, is to provide a plural, multicultural and diverse voice to address the major challenges arising from the current climate situation.
It is a fact that the potential of this population group can help enormously in the dissemination of ideas and proposals in the fight against climate change.
On the other hand, the COGREENEU methodology also introduces aspects of innovation in terms of cooperation and the added value that the different partners can jointly generate.
