From EuroAltea, the European Projects office was organized for the 28th of October of 2020, at 11 AM, the “We all play within social inclusion” online journey.
This broadcast event represents the finishing touch of the European project “Level Up: designing initiatives based on games for the social inclusion of immigrant children”. A project fully sponsored by Erasmus+ project and led by the City Hall of Altea that coordinates a group of 6 international entities and wherein other local entities are also collaborating, such as IES Bellaguarda and Cruz Roja.
Level Up is a cooperation project which has been launched in 2018 and who has managed to enhance educational practices through the gamification of apprenticeship.
In total, 24 months of work, in which, the participants had investigated over successful experiences at an international level, had put into practice pilot actions and had designed an online course that all teachers could have access to and which is available for all the European educational community, so that they could learn and put into practice the knowledge resulted from the project.
From the City Hall of Altea and EuroAltea, the two institutions highlight the importance of improving the techniques used to facilitate the inclusion of the most disadvantaged children and with fewer opportunities.
