The EuroAltea team travelled to Molfetta, Italy, to participate within the “Bridge the gap” project which consisted of the 2021 mobilities. At this working meeting, EuroAltea is participating together with the leader of the project, the City Hall of Molfetta and the InCo Molfetta association, and also together with the associates of the project: Norway, Armenia, Ukraine and Georgia, whose objective is to organise the mobilities for youngsters which will take place in August provided that the protocols against Covid-19 will allow it.
On the schedule of this working meeting there were approached various matters such as the concretion of activities that need to be developed during the mobilities and which are destined to youngsters; the objectives and expected results.
The second day of these journeys, a working reunion has been conducted together with the City Hall of Molfetta; Tommaso Minervini, their mayor and Gabriella Azzollini, the European Projects Councillor, along with Luigi Balacco, associate of the InCo association, meeting during which there were discussed future collaborations in European projects for the mobilities of our youngsters including for the Europe for Citizens (EFC).
The youngsters will be able to take advantage of a non-formal apprenticeship that will teach them how to protect the environment, along with gaining cultural experiences from the different partner countries, improve the communication between the participants and enhance their English; as well as discover and share new experiences and cultures together with the youngsters from the different partner countries. The participants of these mobilities will need to be aged between 13 and 17 years old and they must be interested in the environment.
