On the 9th of May of 2020, we, the European Projects Office, wanted to celebrate this day regardless of the lock down; therefore, we conducted different activities in order to celebrate Europe Day from our home.
We started with the Councillor Maria Antonia Laviós´s publication explaining what Europe means to her, as well as with videos of European residents in Altea and of our own volunteers. We participated at some videoconferences with Andreu Iranzo Navarro, the General Director for European Funds, and we concluded with a European Quiz. “From the European Projects Office of Altea we don´t cease working during lock down because we want to continue to offer our youngsters a wide range of possibilities and mobilities that are within our reach so that they would be able to enjoy being part of a great experience whenever it is possible”, Maria Antonia.
