The councils of Citizen Participation and European Projects have launched a new workshop on Corporate Social Responsibility for associations, which aims to provide associations, entrepreneurs and SMEs with new tools to adapt to the 2030 Agenda.
This workshop took place on Monday 29 November, from 10 to 11:30 am, at the Casa de Cultura.
The workshop, aimed at associations, young entrepreneurs and small business owners, dealt with what Corporate Social Responsibility is and how it can contribute to the competitiveness of the company; new CSR initiatives applied to the professional profile and professional opportunities linked to CSR; Responsibility as a tool for entrepreneurship and Responsibility and the 2030 Agenda in Altea.
In addition to this workshop, which is free and open to the public, the initiative includes a training day in this area of Corporate Social Responsibility for the staff of the Consistory, which will take place on 1 December.
The new CSR standards seek to improve European society at local and European level, providing tools whose use will promote the circular economy, the responsibility of companies towards the environment and associations to promote social justice, among other objectives.
